Social activism changes the fabric of society, not politicians.

Social change does not come from politicians -- it comes from activism.

Kshama Sawant ... has a good read on "the graveyards of good intentions" politics makes of everyone ...

The debate over Trump or Clinton is a red herring, folks! Nothing more than a diversion ...

It's not who you elect, Trump or Clinton will be equally devastating, it's about the activism throughout their terms.

Take for example the terrible presidency of Richard Nixon:
Richard Nixon was a destructive, corrupt president, so activism caused him to do several good things, quite by accident and through social persuasion, before the US threw the bum out, activism forced Nixon to create the EPA and NOAA, ended the draft and stopped the Vietnam war, extended the right to vote to 18-20 year-olds, dedicated $100 million to fight the war on cancer, convicted 2,300 organized crime members by 1973, participated in SALT and signed the Nuclear Arms Treaty.

None of these things would have happened if activism was not a vibrant layer of the US and world social strata while this very bad president was in power.
