Dirty Canadian Secret

Comeco, a Canadian corporation, is a leader in Uranium production and does its dirty work in other countries. Canada privatized their uranium industry in 1988. In Kazakhstan, Comeco uses In Situ Leaching ISL (FRACKING) to produce uranium - 30,000+ tons per year. They pump industrial strength chemicals down to the aquifers to extract the uranium and other deadly isotopes and the poisonous radon gas they simply blow off into the atmosphere. It is deadly, dangerous, and dirty. Every ounce of Uranium we produce will have a half-life - give off radiation - for 703.8 million years. Canada has over 200,000,000 tons of deadly radioactive waste within its borders right now. GLOBAL MORATORIUM ON URANIUM PRODUCTION NOW!
