Bill C-51 Why are you fingerprinting me?

I recently applied for a job that requires a criminal record check.

Every year over the past 5 years, I have had to pay an extra $25 for a fingerprint check as well.

It seems there is a sex offender in Canada, so the RCMP tell me, who has the same birthdate as mine so, to protect the public, they fingerprint me every year.

I wanted more information, but no RCMP officer will tell me what is on their rap sheet -- yes, they have a rap sheet on me -- and yet I am part of their process.

If I want the job, every year I have to play their game and pay into the invisible tax on the poor.

For the record, I am not a pedophile, am not a terrorist, have never been arrested but I am in their system.

Why?
