SOLAR Power - CHINA leads the way!


As a response to so much China bashing lately, due this time to their connection with the Keystone Pipeline, I researched China's take on SOLAR power.

I did not have to dig too deep. China, without the Koch Brothers, lead the world...China ranks 80th in the world in eradicating corrupt politicians. The US has its own corruption problems.

As for political institutions, a cold, dark, energy-starved planet, and the cost in human lives that scenario would produce, trumps any issue of how a sovereign nation organizes as a society.

Solar power in the People's Republic of China is a growing industry with over 400 photovoltaic (PV) companies. In 2013, China was the world's leading installer of solar photovoltaics, adding a record 11.3 gigawatts (GW) of capacity to a cumulated total of 18.3 GW.[1] This is more than twice as much as in 2012 when China installed about 5.0 GW of solar panel capacity.[2] Solar water heating is extensively implemented as well.
