Imagine a line of trucks from LA to NYC, 7 times over...

Nuclear Legacy at Hanford WA nuclear reservation: (As of Aug 2014)
Uranium takes 703.8 million years to decay It remains deadly to us through much of that cycle.
The world uranium industry is producing 50 tons of uranium every year.
How big a problem is this?  Imagine this:
Load 20 tons of waste on a 24 ft truck, then park the trucks in a line reaching from Los
Angeles to Yew York City. You would be required to repeat the procedure 7.5 times in
in order to load all the nucleare waste left behind at Hanford WA since its operational
days, which ended when the facility was abandoned in 1964.

Where will you take that amount of waste?
It's leaking  into the Columbia River now, and has been since 2010.
This is not a US problem. The Russians are dumping their nuclear waste into the Barents and Mara seas.

This is a global issue!
NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO DISPOSE OF THE WASTE
IF THEY SAY THEY ARE ON TOP OF IT, THEY'RE LYING TO US AGAIN
MORATORIUM ON URANIUM PRODUCTION NOW!
BAN IN SITU LEACHING NOW!
SAVE OUR GROUND WATER AQUIFERS NOW!
